Estimate EV charging time for a chosen battery range

Charge Window calculates battery energy as usable capacity × the change in charge percentage, then divides that energy by the charger power you enter. If you have a fixed number of minutes, it also calculates the ideal battery percentage reachable in that time. These are constant-power estimates, not a promise for a real charging session. Actual power can be lower or taper as the battery fills; charging losses, temperature and vehicle limits are not modeled.

How to use Charge Window

1. Enter the usable battery capacity in kWh, your current charge percentage, and a higher target percentage.
2. Enter charger power in kW. You can also enter minutes available to compare your stop with the target.
3. Select Calculate window to see battery energy, ideal time and, when a time limit is entered, the ideal reachable charge level. Adjust the inputs and recalculate or select Clear.
