Explore a Modulo Multiplication Table and Residue Clock

Modulo Map is a visual modular arithmetic calculator for whole numbers. Enter a modulus from 2 to 24 and two integers to see the normalized remainder, Euclidean division form, repeated-addition cycle and complete multiplication table. It uses the non-negative remainder from 0 to n − 1, including when an input is negative.

How to use Modulo Map

  1. Enter a modulus from 2 to 24, then add the two whole numbers you want to multiply.
  2. Build the map to read the normalized remainder, Euclidean form and repeated-addition cycle on the residue clock.
  3. Choose any multiplication-table cell to inspect that residue pair without rebuilding the whole table.
