Compare Grocery Unit Prices Across Pack Sizes

Different pack sizes can make a shelf price hard to compare. Enter two or three prices and package amounts in the same currency. Shelf Math converts grams to kilograms or millilitres to litres, accounts for multipacks, and compares the cost per kilogram, litre, or item. It uses only the numbers you provide and does not fetch current store prices. Compare products with the same kind of measure and consider quality or waste before buying.

How to use Shelf Math

1. Choose weight, volume, or pieces so every item is compared on the same basis.
2. For each item, enter its shelf price, amount per pack, unit, and how many identical packs are included. Add a third item if needed.
3. Select Compare unit prices to see the lowest price per kilogram, litre, or item and each other item's difference at that same quantity. Edit any field to recalculate or clear all to start over.
