Build a Wi-Fi Device Setup Test Checklist

Wi-Fi Setup Matrix gives device testers eight prompts spanning first connection, wrong credentials, interruption, reconnect and reset. Enter a device name, run each case on your own hardware, and record pass, fail or blocked with observations. The prompts are a starting point; adapt the actions and expected behavior to the device’s documentation. The tool does not connect to or test the network itself.

How to use Wi-Fi Setup Matrix

1. Enter the device name and choose how users start setup. Add a firmware build and a non-sensitive test network label if useful.
2. Build the matrix, select each scenario, perform it on the device, and record the outcome plus what you observed.
3. Filter the scenario list to revisit failures or unfinished checks, then download the Markdown report for review. The report includes untested cases.
